The books to Hawassa University in Ethiopia have been shipped! Over 33,000 pounds of books were loaded up by TMF volunteers in collaboration with Colorado State University. See CSU's article on the event for more details. (April, 2015)

The TMF Lango School project just added a new shower house to its compound thanks to the support from TMF. The project continues to expand as local needs as TMF continues to work with local elders on their needs and ideas. (February, 2015)

With support from TMF, over 100 plots providing information on plants and wildlife have been collected in the Galama Mountains by an outstanding Ph.D. student, Zerihun Girma, at Wondo Genet College of Forestry and Natural Resource! In addition contributing Zerihun's graduate program, these plots will support a number of additional TMF projects from conserving mountain nyala to mapping vegetation change across the region. TMF volunteers help sort and box over 500 boxes of books and journals donated by students, faculty and friends of Colorado State University. The books will be shipped to Hawassa University in Ethiopia where they will be distributed to the libraries on their 4 campuses. (March 2014)
